The first meeting of opposition parties was held in Patna on June 23, in which more than 15 parties participated.

The Congress has also invited several opposition parties from South India to attend the meeting. Sources have claimed that 8 more parties will participate in the meeting of the opposition parties of the Congress as compared to the Patna meeting. from Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), Kongu Desa Makkal Katchi (KDMK), Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), All India Forward Bloc, Indian Union Muslim League, Kerala Congress (Joseph) and Kerala Congress ( Mani) has also been called to attend the Bengaluru meeting.
